“The following information is provided exclusively as a service to our members and represents material provided to us by individuals in their independent capacities as organizers. Members are encouraged to be aware of their common-sense responsibility to (1) verify information regarding meeting place, time, cost, access, smoking policy, and appropriateness for children, and (2) conduct themselves in such a way as to make their repeated presence welcome.”

•What is a Regional Gathering?
“Each weekend-long Regional Gathering, or RG, usually features speakers; games; a Hospitality room with food, beverages and lots of socializing; and often a little something special, a signature program or activity that the hosting local group injects into the event to make it their own.
While some long-established RGs draw hundreds of attendees, most are much smaller. (Snowball gets a few hundred.)
Approximately 40 RGs are held around the US every year, and all are planned and staffed by local volunteers.”
